BHQ Rexnord/Planetgear Build Center Team Goes the Extra Mile - 01/29/08
The call came in on a Friday night. A power station customer forgot to put oil in a Rexnord Planetgear unit and, upon discovering that the inventory on the units in their storeroom had depleted to zero, needed BHQ to deliver a working unit as quickly as possible. Having received another damaged unit the night before, BHQ’s assembly center was able to get to work on a repair immediately. Two shop personnel came in after hours, repaired the unit and had it picked up for overnight delivery at 11 p.m. By 10 a.m. the next morning, the repaired Rexnord Planetgear unit was at BHQ and on its way to the customer. Thanks to the quick turnaround at BHQ Planetgear Build Center, a commitment to service that went above and beyond, BHQ helped the power station avoid crisis and continue to operate effectively.
