Fan Drive Saving Solution

Problem:

Customer has a large overhead fan; the motor stopped working on the fan and the OEM would only sell a new, complete unit for a little over $10,000.00.

Solution:

Using our shops, we were able to size a Cone Drive gearbox assembled at the Drives Division, attach a Baldor motor, and have the frame modified and a mounting plate made. The complete package was delivered for easy installation.

Benefit and Cost Savings:

Cost of purchasing a new, complete overhead fan is a little over $10,000.00. Total immediate savings of $8,500.00 plus the benefit of being able to change the motor or the gearbox in the future.
