Bearing Headquarters is starting off 2021 with some exciting changes to our leadership team!
Jimmy Timble has taken the reigns as our new President and CEO. In his 24 years at BHQ, Jimmy played an integral role in many company operations, with one huge accomplishment being his participation in the development and growth of our Metalworking Shops Division. A core tenet at Bearing Headquarters, as The Service First CompanyTM, is our unwavering commitment to our customers – a philosophy that Jimmy firmly stands behind and will continue to uphold as President and CEO. BHQ is proud and excited to see Jimmy continue to grow a legacy that started with our inception in 1934 as Bearing Headquarters advances into the next phase of our evolution.
Jim Scardina has been promoted from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President. Jim has had a remarkable 52-year career at Bearing Headquarters. In addition to his years of service at BHQ, Jim is also serving his second term as President of the Bearing Specialists Association (BSA), an indispensable industry trade association. At BHQ, everyone knows we are fortunate to have Jim as a key part of our team.
Toby Stinson re-joined the BHQ team in October as a new Vice President. Beginning his career at BHQ nearly 30 years ago, Toby thrived in his roles in Outside Sales, Sales Management, Branch Management, and District Management. After a short departure, the BHQ family is excited to welcome Toby back to our ranks and see what he does in his new role.
Sandy Swaim is the newest member of the family, having joined Bearing Headquarters in 2017 as Director of our ITS department after a successful, 26-year IT career at Lovejoy, where she served as Vice President of Information Technology. Sandy now brings her extensive technical knowledge and experience to Bearing Headquarters, where she has already made great strides in growing the infrastructure and strategy of her team. Sandy’s industry experience and energetic perspective are a welcomed addition to the executive team.
Congratulations to all! Great things are ahead for Bearing Headquarters!
